Alaska's leading lobbying firm.

For more than thirty-five years, Lobby Alaska has helped state, national, and international clients navigate the policymaking process in Juneau and across Alaska state government.

We work shoulder-to-shoulder with our clients to understand their objectives, then bring our institutional knowledge of the Legislature and Executive Branch to bear on every committee hearing, floor vote, regulatory comment period, and gubernatorial briefing that matters to them.

Success in this state requires strong relationships, broad experience, and proven results.

Our partners have served at the highest levels of Alaska state government — as legislative aides, gubernatorial advisors, and senior policy directors. We bring that perspective into the room with us every day.

Comprehensive government relations.

A full-service practice built around the rhythm of the Alaska legislative session — and the year-round work that surrounds it.

01

Legislative Advocacy

Direct lobbying of the Alaska State Legislature and its committees — testimony preparation, bill tracking, amendment strategy, and member outreach throughout each session.

02

Executive Branch Strategy

Engagement with the Governor's Office, commissioners, and state agencies on regulatory matters, executive budget priorities, and administrative decision-making.

03

Policy & Legislative Monitoring

Real-time tracking of bills, regulations, and policy developments — with the context you need to act on what matters and ignore what doesn't.

04

Coalition Building

Identifying and convening the allies, trade associations, and stakeholder groups whose voices reinforce your position when it counts most.

05

Political Risk Analysis

Reading the political terrain — committee composition, leadership dynamics, gubernatorial priorities — so clients can plan with confidence rather than surprise.

06

Government Procurement

Guidance for clients pursuing state contracts, grants, and capital appropriations — from initial scoping through award and contract administration.

How we work with our clients.

We don't sell access — we sell judgment. The kind that only comes from spending decades in the rooms where Alaska policy actually gets made.

  1. I.

    Listen first.

We begin with your business, your goals, and the political environment you operate in. No two clients walk through our door with the same problem, and our work begins by understanding yours in detail.

  2. II.

    Map the terrain.

We identify the committees, members, agency officials, and stakeholders who will shape the outcome — and the timing, vehicles, and procedural opportunities most likely to move it in your direction.

  3. III.

    Build the case.

Strong testimony, well-drafted amendments, vetted coalitions, and a steady drumbeat of contact with the right decision-makers — executed with the discipline a long session demands.

  4. IV.

    Keep you informed.

Clients hear from us early and often. You won't read about a development affecting your interests in the morning news — you'll hear about it from us first.

Decades inside Alaska state government.

Our partners have served Republican, Democratic, and Independent administrations — and worked alongside legislators across the political spectrum. That breadth is the foundation of our practice.
